Wage War - The Stripped Sessions - [Vinyl]

Fans of the Florida-bred lineup dig the alternate approach, indicated by the success of 2018�s stripped version of their song �Johnny Cash,� which kicked open doors for the album that would become The Stripped Sessions. This track received the full-band treatment on Deadweight, but Quistad notes, �the acoustic version of that song does better for us than the full metal version.� A stripped-down version Deadweight�s �Gravity� also struck a chord with fans. Recorded in Florida�s The Audio Compound, The Stripped Sessions was produced by Quistad and Andrew Wade, who has worked with the band previously. Jeremy MacKinnon from A Day To Remember co-produces the LP�s new track, a stunning re-working of the Johnny Cash�s song �Folsom Prison Blues.�
