Limited vinyl LP pressing. The Weight Is a Gift is the fourth album by alt-rock band Nada Surf. The album was produced by Death Cab for Cutie guitarist Chris Walla and mixed by Geoff Sanoff. It features vocals from the Long Winters frontman John Roderick. The album was recorded in two sessions at Hall of Justice in Seattle and Tiny Telephone in San Francisco.
