Shortly after leaving the folkpunk forefathersin 1997, Jamie Clarke moved to Berlin to found his new band Perfect. Together with the ex-Frantic Flintstones musician Pierre Lavendel (banjo, mandolin, acoustic guitar) he developed a furious mixture of Irish folk, rockabilly, garage and punk rock, which has since been refined on a good ten studio albums and through more than 3,000 live performances.
