Hino's track "Ode to workman" was featured on the excellent 2018 compilation 'J Jazz: Deep Modern Jazz From Japan 1969-1984' released on BBE. These 4 records are important pieces in 1970's independent Jazz! After his return to Japan, Terumasa Hino formed a new band with Hideo Ichikawa, Kiyoshi Matsumoto, and Terumasa Hino, adding to US bassist Reggie Workman and Teruo Nakamura. Terumasa Hino's sensitive and wild playing is mind blowing. "Gengon" features both powerful and graceful sound and "Peace and Love" is so deep and full of beauty, these two songs show Terumasa Hino's serenity at this moment.
