Piano meets Electronics: debut album of the project by �lafur Arnalds and Janus Rasmussen.The minimal-techno project Kiasmos was founded in 2009 by Icelandic neo-classical composer and pianist �lafur Arnalds together with Janus Rasmussen (Bloodgroup). With Kiasmos, the two try to combine Arnald's acoustic piano work with Rasmusse's heavy, synthesizer-based electropop. A first EP (" Thrown EP") was released in 2012, followed by the long-awaited debut album with " Kiasmos". It sprang from the love of electronic music that unites the two sound masters. In addition to synthesizers and percussion machines, the studio in Iceland used numerous acoustic instruments and even a string quartet. The result is an atmospheric, structured sound that you can hear great at home, but to which you can also dance well.
