This epic Ben E. King track took thirty years to be heard by anyone outside the recording session when an 8 (yes, eight inches) acetate was found in London's West End. A few years later it was given an eponymous CD release along with 23 other Northern Soul classics from the Atlantic vaults. After a further sixteen years of demand for a 45 release Kent have finally succumbed. If that weren't enough the best uptempo Northern discovery of last year backs it up on the flip: the Marvellos originally unissued Loma stomper I Need You. A-side writers are Leiber & Stoller, B-side is by Willie Hutch & Marc Gordon.
