With influences from the Groundhogs to the Frogs, Captain Beefheart to the more obscure mid -'80s central California hardcore bands featured on maximum rock 'n' roll comp 'Not So Quiet On the Western Front', 'Wowee Zowee' confused critics and alienated fans.
